To celebrate the launch of Nik Farah's 'Dirty Stop Out's Guide to 1970s Barnsley' we're bringing back the glitz of cabaret with the return of the town's most famous venue of the era - Club Ba-Ba.
The reunion line-up includes the fabulous Grumbleweeds who performed at the original club. Singer/historian Dave Cherry will also be recounting memories of the era - he also performed at Ba-Ba.
Clubland star Stephanie King will be performing songs of the '70s with her Elysium girls. Whilst female duo Chaos join the stella the line-up.
There'll also be an amazing photo display from the archives of Stan Plus Stan Two - the duo that captured the town in the 1970s.
And no true '70s cabaret experience would be complete without enjoying chicken in a basket. The Northern Vintage Tea Company will be serving up this time honoured tradition!
The event will take place at New Lodge Working Men's Club, Wakefield Road, Barnsley S71 1PA on Thursday, November 2nd.
